here's where i (or scott, if he beats me to it! Wink) will be posting the youtube videos of the presidential and vice-presidential debates.  (=

for those of you opting for the shorter versions: subsequent parts usually can be accessed at the conclusion by clicking the link of the appropriate segment.

the first presidential debate took place on friday eve, 26 september 2008.
it was between senator barack obama (D-IL) and senator john mccain (R-AZ); the moderator was pbs' jim lehrer (from 'news hour with jim lehrer').

the vice-presidential debate took place on the eve of thursday, 2 october 2008.
it was between senator joseph biden (d) and governor sarah palin (r); the moderator was pbs' gwen ifill ('washington week' and a correspondent for 'news hour with jim lehrer').
